Five Ways Corporate Sponsors Can Help Project417 Fight Homelessness
1. Become a financial supporter - all donations are tax deductible.
2. Donate "Gifts in Kind" and receive a receipt for tax purposes:
Donate new or re-furbished computers, printers, peripherals and software. Also needed: laptops, PDA's, cell / mobile phones, pagers. Digital cameras and camcorders. LCD projectors. Software: Windows XP, Mac OS X, Sun Solaris 10, Linux; Adobe Photoshop, Macromedia Studio 8, Acrobat Pro, Microsoft Office Suite.
Also needed: Large, new or late model full size van, camper or bus, such as the Dodge Sprinter for street outreach, first aid, and meal delivery.
Also needed: New clothing, all styles, all weather, particularily socks, undergarments, T-shirts, sweatshirts, jeans, jackets and coats, shoes (including athletic footwear), sleeping bags, knapsacks, gym bags.
3. Hire a formerly homeless person who has completed a job preparedness course for full-time, part-time, training or internships.
4. Reward and recognize your employees for volunteering with Project417 and offer them donation matching plans or paid time off work to assist Project417.
5. Provide professional services, consulting or technical services to help Project417 administer its charitable programs.
